Recap of my Week

Whew!  What a week this has been.  The schedule is hectic, of course.  But I also got a few curve balls thrown into the mix this week too.  Mon, Tue and Wed was the normal work and school schedule of leaving the house at 7am and getting home around 11pm or after (been a snowy week so the drive home after school nights have been yucky).  Then Graduate School therapy started on Thursday so got home around 9:00 p.m. last night and tonight I meet a fellow student after work to do some homework together.

And this is the week leading up to the big event at work, so lots of stress and extra tasks on my plate during the day too. I've also been battling with Adobe and my school bookstore to get the software I've been needing for my class ... finally after a 2.5 week battle to get things working and 45 minutes on the phone with Adobe tonight, the programs are working.  (Keep your fingers cross they don't stop again.) Then Thursday I had a little issue with a bad parking job on my part and ended up "breaking" my car.  You know that black plastic piece under your bumper that covers the underside of your engine housing... yeah, I ripped that off, but only partway so now it's flapping in the wind as I drive down the road at 75mph.  Gotta get that looked at tomorrow.

Saying I'm thankful it's the weekend is an understatement.  The weekend is packed with more stuff to do - homework, housework, cooking for the week, errands and stuff - but at least I can sleep late and go to bed at a decent hour if I want to.  I've been averaging about 4.5 to 5 hours sleep per night (according to my GoWearFit).

I am definitely going to find time to play in my art room this weekend too.  I also haven't posted all week over on {Create} and I want to get caught up on stuff on my wish list.  And Dr. W. has given us a few assignments for therapy this week ... one of which is finding my life's theme song.  That's going to be a tough one since I'm known for having music on but not actually listening to the lyrics or paying attention to the music, just having it on for noise.  So that task is going to require some digging.

So that's what I've been up to this week.  I've got some real stuff I want to write about and have started keeping a list of things.  So hopefully you'll hear from me this weekend about some real WLS stuff.

  2. Pam,

Fabulous job at the State of the County event. I hope you got some much needed rest. Your weekly schedule sounds crazy. Hope your problem with Adobe was not created by the recent update they had us load. We had to download a patch to keep CS3 running without crashing. Good luck on your theme song. I'm thinking "Mustang Sally".
