Who Are You?

So I'm a curious type of person. I'm sure you've guessed that about me already. And lately I've been curious about my readers here. I keep an eye on my traffic (when I remember to) and notice that I'm consistently getting a lot of visitors every day ... anywhere from 75 to 150 unique visitors every day. Wow! That's kind of cool, huh?
I get comments from folks who I know and talk to in real life and they confess to having stalking tendencies when it comes to my blog .... and I love hearing from ya'll.
But I also get comments from anonymous folks that "seem" like they know me in real life or on a forum somewhere or that I "should" know who they are..... but I really have no clue who you are. Or maybe I would know who you are if only I got a hint. (Shasta, Woody - I'm talking to you!)
So show yourself. Or at least give me a hint how I know you. Or maybe you just stumbled across my blog from somewhere and decided to stick around. If I don't know you, tell me about yourself so I can get to know you too - afterall, my life is on display here, it's only fair that I know a couple of your secrets too, right? :: grin ::
I don't mind cyber-stalkers, really... I'm just curious and nosey and want to know who I'm talking to out there in cyberspace. If you don't want to do it out here in public, feel free to drop me an email.
Can't wait to meet ya!
~Pam

  1. Hi, Pam. My name is Karen and I've seen you around OH. I have my own blog called Sunshine's Heart and I've been following your blog for a while now. My surgery was about 7 weeks ago and It is helpful to me to see how things are going for you and what you do to stay on track.
    Blessings,

  2. Hi Karen -
I'm one of YOUR stalkers. Your blog is one of the ones I read regularly and you're on my Bloglines account. It's great to see you're doing so well with your journey. And I love that you post what you eat so often ... that'll be a great resource to go back to for many new WLS folks.

Thanks for reading my ramblings. I'm glad you're here.

  3. I found you from OH. :) I find your blog very interesting. I post as Devilwmn on there. I usually stick to the MD state forum (I'm kind of shy.)

Thanks for the Chai tea recipe. It's great! :)

  4. Hi Pam, I'm one of those lurkers. I found you about 10 months ago after I had lap band surgery and I was searching for WLS blogs. I'm terrible about leaving comments - I had to go look up my ID and password to log in and leave you this note. These days I don't even have time to lurk as much as I'd like. But I love reading about your journey, you've been an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing as you do!

  7. Hi Pam,

My name is Leslie and I am a lurker. I feel like I just went to confession or something. LOL
I mostly post on OH on the Eatin' Good in the Hood post. I go by cggddss. I just recently noticed that you had a link to your blog while posting on OH. I thought I would check it out. I liked it so now I come by and check it out every now and then. I am thoroughly impressed on how you have succeeded in your weight loss. Keep up the good work.

    Take Care

  8. Hi Pam, My name is Heather. I have been reading your blog since I first discovered OH. You are bookmarked both at work and at home. Your words and insight have been extremely inspirational. I share your blog with many others. I particularly appreciate your writing on how you are making changes in your life. (setting goals, rewards etc. - I'm sure you label that something specific but I can't think of what it is) Thank you for your writing.

  9. Hey Pam! I live on a river in the foothills of the Cascade mountains in Oregon. My RNY surgery date is April 7th, and sweetie, you have been an inspiration to me. I forget how I stumbled onto you, but I thank God I did. You are a valuable source of great information, and your humor and love come thru loud and clear. I'm a bodybuilder & weightlifter from way back, so am up on all the supplements. What I guess I need to find more of are tasty RECIPES! Thank you, dear lady.
    Love, Woody

  11. Hi Pam! I'm reading your blog from the beginning to present day; found the link on the OH boards. I'm researching WLS and reading a couple of blogs to get a long term view of what it's like living after WLS. You and I are the same age and my weight now is very close to your starting weight, so I'm enjoying reading about your progress. I haven't read ahead yet...

Oh man! You poor thing.... having to endure 3.5 years of my ramblings. LOL! I hope you survive the craziness that's inside my head and spills out onto the pages of this blog. Good luck with your WLS journey. It's the best thing I've done for myself and I'm so much happier for it!
