Dating
Several months ago I talked about dating. At that time I decided it wasn't a priority for me and that I wanted to focus on making new friends. Well, I've done that and I feel like my circle of friends is larger than it was a year ago. And I have friends who are not just from the WLS community, so that's a bonus, right?
But now I think I'm ready to start dating again. Being single is great most of the time - but sometimes it's just too darned lonely. I'd like to find Mr. Right before I'm 75 years old. How on earth I'll fit one more thing into my hectic schedule... I don't know. But I want to try.
So if any of my local friends are reading this and know of an eligible bachelor - I might be up for a blind date or something. Yikes! Did I just say that?

Good for you! I found my husband on online personals when these things were still taboo in polite society. Have you thought of trying Match or eHarmony?

ReplyDeleteYes, I did the online dating thing for a while - years ago. It might be totally different now that I'm not the "fat girl" but back then it was not a pleasant experience. Too many losers to sift through when dealing with the online scene. I might give it another shot, we'll see.

Hey Pam,
ReplyDeleteI think that's awesome :) We'll have to bug Michael for an available doctor LOL jk I'll keep my eyes open for a good one. Anything special I'm looking for?
@Mindy - Ha! I'm not sure I could put up with a doctor's personality (Type A and usually a bit arrogant). Although a professionally employed man is a great idea. I'd really just like to find someone who is kind-hearted, generous, fun to hang out with and has as much love to give as I do. (Someone who's taller than me, has strong arms to hold me and a sexy butt -- bonus!)
